Pride Month
Young people who identify as LGBTQ+ may face additional challenges when they are fostered. Many have needed new homes due to family rejection, discrimination, or even abuse, related to their sexual orientation or gender identity. They may be at higher risk of experiencing further discrimination unless they are placed within caring, supportive, and understanding foster families.

Foster Care Fortnight – The Power of Relationships
Foster Care Fortnight, with the theme ‘The Power of Relationships,’ takes place from May 12 to May 25, 2025. The campaign highlights the importance of strong, trusting relationships in fostering, whether between foster parents and young people, social workers, fostering communities, or birth families.
Fostering young people with Autism – World Autism Awareness Month
Our foster parents often share that fostering autistic young people can be a deeply rewarding experience, offering the opportunity to support and nurture individuals with unique perspectives and abilities. As an independent fostering agency, we understand the importance of providing tailored care and support to meet the diverse needs of autistic children and young people.
