We are a small and supportive fostering agency based in Nottingham. We pride ourselves on offering personalised support for all of our families and making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable young people. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our recent OFSTED report, which states, “Children told us that they love living with their foster carers.”

The need for foster parents in the East Midlands has never been greater. With the number of children in care rising year after year, we are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team of foster parents. By becoming a foster parent, you can make a profound difference in a child’s life, helping them to build enduring relationships, achieve their educational goals, and prepare for adulthood in a stable and loving environment.

At Hope Fostering Services, we prioritise the well-being and development of both our foster children and parents. We provide comprehensive training, ongoing support, and access to resources, such as our in-house psychologist, to ensure that our parents are well-prepared and supported in their roles. Our agency also places a strong emphasis on cultural sensitivity, ensuring that children from diverse backgrounds can follow their faith and traditions.

Kate and Linda, who are foster parents with Hope, transferred from another agency. Linda said, “I have to say, I think Hope’s very inclusive. They welcome everyone from all backgrounds, all faiths, and all cultures”. Another foster parent, Kirsty, shared ‘We are like a family really – everyone knows each other and the support you get is so personal’.

Hope is actively supporting Foster Care Fortnight, which The Fostering Network organises. It has been running since 1997 and aims to highlight the dedication and commitment of foster parents, as well as the urgent need for more foster families

Foster Care Fortnight, with the theme ‘The Power of Relationships,’ takes place from May 12 to May 25, 2025. The campaign highlights the importance of strong, trusting relationships in fostering, whether between foster parents and young people, social workers, fostering communities, or birth families.

Foster Care Fortnight is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have never considered fostering before to learn more about the process and the incredible difference they can make. It is also another chance for us to say thank you to our current foster families, for the incredible work they do day in, day out.
